Ha! Take THAT! Badass level up - Reoccuring dream, now that there is a second one...

So, SURPRISE!!!!,  I was traveling so I could do a "thing", and stopped off at this hostel I'd visited before.  They knew me, I knew them.  They were nice.  I was even cooler in this dream, than before.  I had been around.  Traveled, you know how it is.  I'd seen the world, and just needed a place to sleep before I went to do the thing.

That damn alarm clock again, it was playing music/a radio station.  It was annoying, but there were some people sleeping through it - I just think they had given up on trying to get it to SHUT THE #@#& up.  Damnit!  I was just about to fiddle with it (smash the #@#&er) but was called away to hang with some friends.   (Note:  those who know me know I travel loads for work - I've stayed in hotel rooms more than home in past years, and always have a problem with the freakin alarm clocks.  Someone always sets them to go off at a crazy time of night, so I have to figure out how to turn the peices of crap off!!!!!! Argh! )

Anywho...so I'm hanging with friends.  Mostly guys.  They were awesome and thought I was awesome....that's all you are getting - gotta keep this worksafe....well, I don't have to, but...yeah.

Then there are bugs.  Big disgusting bugs.  Not alot, but even one is really too many.

Then there was a "bad guy" (BG) who was breaking into the hostel/house and gonna hurt people.  My "badass" score levels up, and I shield some peeps from the BG.  Then I rough the BG up, and kick it out of the house.  I don't show fear, but it is a psychotic kid with a weapon.  Those are scary creatures.  I managed to warn the bugger off, but I was ready to advise the hostel to invest in some heavy artillery, and automatics.  Also, perhaps some really sharp knives, to cut the creature up, once they have temporarily subdued it with many bullets (all they had), then burn the bits in separate bonfires.....

Then I realized I couldn't sleep because I was cold.  I've donned my socks and sweater, now back to sleep to see if I can find the good parts of that dream again.

No ninjas, unless you count me.

F&*%#*# Alarm Clock!

So this morning I dreamed, just before I woke up, that I was awake, and got a very important phone call, and my alarm clock went off.  No matter what I did, I couldn't turn it off.  I pushed all the buttons, flipped all the switches, pulled things apart, unplugged it, removed the batteries - It.Would.Not.Turn.OFF!!!!  I kept having to apologize to the person on the phone - he was patient, but it didn't look good that I couldn't control my alarm clock.  I was so upset.

Then I woke up for realz and turned off my real life alarm.  Sigh.

Just so, you all don't think my dreams have become mundane - cuz they haven't.  I've just not been getting to bed early enough to fully remember them.  I'mma gonna work on that - I love my dreams.  They are fun!  Usually.

Ecstatic Bread

So, last night I dreamed about traveling and bread.  Let me rephrase that - traveling and Bread.  I was on some kind of traveling adventure, but the most awesome and clear part was shopping in a bread store, kind of like H-Mart bakery in Woburn, MA, but BETTER.  There was breads of all kinds stacked everywhere.  Towers of bread to walk around, like a jungle of bagels, loafs, rolls, braids, flavors, OMG.

The drama of this particular dream came from the joy of picking out of delicacies, and later trying to find the large bag, and worrying if they would go stale fast, or moldy in the asian humidity... dum da dum dum....

Are my dreams becoming dull...where are you, Ninjas?  I have dream bagels for you!

Shhh...I know the monster.

The dream started out innocently enough, one of my travel dreams...I was going somewhere with a bunch of girls.  There was to be a shindig.  Everyone was in sparkles and heels.  My dress wasn't sparkly, and I had packed so light, I didn't have shoes - but I was sure I was fine.  We all got to the hotel and grabbed a seat in the lobby...then the dream changed.

This part is one of my scariest dreams yet, and I'm not sure how to write it.  I don't want to portray it in a vague way, just to put it on this blog.  So, no one gets to read about it.  I'm not likely to forget it.

Here's the thing:
I've dreamed about a mushroom cloud of terrible destruction, with the Grimm Reaper in maroon robes pointing at me, telling me that I would die by the light of the Red August moon...to this day, I always check the full moons in August and make sure it isn't red.  I've dreamed of a maze filled with  demons, one of which turns to me, smirks, waves and swishes his long skinny tail at me, and all I said to him was, "Cool, Dude - You're BLUE!"  I've been surrounded by spectacular car crashes, cars flipping in flames all around and over me, bullets flying by so close I could feel them pass my cheek, and the air of their passing ruffling my hair - all this and I remember thinking, "Huh - How about that." I've dreamed of miles high tidal waves rushing across a plain of yellow dirt, ready to crush and drown me - but I could fly, and when I touched it the tidal wave froze.  I've practiced lucid dreaming and defeated monsters by making them explode into particles of light with my mind, just by thinking "EXPLODE!".

The scariest dreams - the ones that horrify, so even cute kitten pictures on the internet can't provide enough brain bleach to wash away the bad - have real people as the monsters.  Real people you know.

Half a dream into the future, then start at the beginning - no ninjas in this dream, either. I'm kinda missing the ninjas. 3:59 am

So, Kinda had a dream that started like some of the movies we see.  Started at the end, then rebooted at the beginning of the story.

I'm with a bunch of people, I have a chain or rope around my neck, and this woman has been betrayed, a green alient/mutant creature admits to how it betrayed the woman.  The woman turns into a violent, and vengefully violent creature, kinda like the hulk, but more wraithlike and not green.  She is swiping at me and a couple of others, but I am protected by a shield like table that the others swing around to protect us.  She calms a bit and calls for the death of the creature that betrayed her.  The group and I, though we hated killing, understood the evil that the bad guy did, and besides we were more fearful of the betrayed woman, and we took turns running the bad guy through with a sword.

Then I'm walking away, thinking that I haven't finished it, and only started the story at the end.  Other stuff happens, then the story starts again, closer to the beginning.

I'm finishing up a couple of part time jobs that I do before I go to a bigger new job that I'm not sure about yet.  I'm in my work clothes, which is like a one piece work overall, that zips up the front, and work boots.  Everyone at the part time jobs really appreciate what I've done and bid me good bye, and one guy tells me that I have to go someplace else to change.  I do, and as I'm trying to take off the overalls, I bump something and stuff pours out, not alot, but the stuff starts to expand at an alarming rate and is super sticky.  I'm fighting to scrape the stuff off, and one of the guys comes over to help me - we are both disgusted.  I think to myself that the stuff is like mucus - it expands 10 times its size when it comes in contact with water.  Ewwww.

I finally move away and find a room to change in, it has flowing curtains, and this creepy woman comes from further in the room and threatens me to get out or else.  I leave and finish changing, and then notice that I have a chain or rope around my neck.  Apparently the new job, was just a lure, and I was captured and made to join a fighting group.  The creepy woman and someone else on my team are talking and saying that I have no choice but to join the team.  I find my small carving of my bird vessel (I realize that I can turn into a fighting bird.  I'm supposed to fly sideways naturally, but the vessel has been altered!!!  I'm upset that now I have to fly head on/horizontally - not natural!!!)  and I realize that I was the woman that was betrayed by the creature!

Whew!  As I typed this out, I totally know all of the RL elements that led to the dream elements.  Kinda cool.  While I had demons, no ninjas in this dream, either.  I'm kinda missing the ninjas.

Horrible Nightmare! No Ninjas.

Horrrrrrrrible Nightmare!  Treked to the airport.  Waited for hours (Sky Club - there were cocktails, so this wasn't the bad part).  I was sooo excited to go to Luxembourg, the following week I was going to get to ride the huge beer (I know the name - just know I have no chance of spelling it at 4:30 am) horsies through the  Swiss Alps.

Asked for directions to the 1st class security/boarding area (cuz, Hey! It's my freakin dream - you can ride economy in your dream if you are on a dream budget)

Was searching for my boarding pass, and realized I FORGOT MY FREAKIN PASSPORT!!!!!!

I didn't have a meltdown, which is the only saving grace.  I was UNHAPPY, but went home to replan.

There was a bit more, mostly unrelated - and boring as H.E.dublehockeystixxx.  That last word was more exciting than the end of the dream.  No Pirates or Ninjas.

You are Welcome. Again

So, yeah - me and my mom just totally foiled a terrorist plot, armed only with witty banter.  Oh, I had a sharp steak knife.  Perhaps the steak knife was there only to show how freakin dangerously cool I was, as I clambered across a large shattered wooden rowboat, like a pirate born on the savage seas.

The only bummer was that the code for the free movies we were planning on going to was on the terrorist's needlepoint project that was confiscated by the govt taskforce that cleaned up the scene.  Bastards.  Agent Mom was trying to weasel out of the movies, since we didn't have the free code.  Damn.

BTW: Strawberry Angelfood cake is kinda like non crunchy cotton candy that doesn't melt in your mouth.
